Providing Access to Health (PATH) is a program run by University of Pennsylvania medical students and social work students. It was created to help underserved patients in Philadelphia get the care that they need right away, while also building long-term solutions for better access to healthcare.

Based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Cedar Avenue, PATH connects community members with resources to support the things people need to stay healthy.

We offer one-on-one, in-person support to help you:

• Apply for health insurance or public benefits you may be eligible for

• Find doctors who accept your health insurance

• Get low-cost medications

• Connect you to community resources to help with food assistance, energy assistance, transportation, job training, and aging support
