Welcome to PATH!

Providing Access to Health (PATH) is a program run by University of Pennsylvania medical students. It was created to help underserved people in Philadelphia get the care that they need right away, while also building long-term solutions for better access to healthcare.

Based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - Cedar Avenue, PATH connects community members with resources to support the things people need to stay healthy.

We offer one-on-one, in-person support to help you:

  • Apply for health insurance or public benefits you may be eligible for

  • Find doctors who accept your health insurance

  • Get low-cost medications

  • Connect you to community resources to help with food, energy assistance, transportation, job training, and aging support
